KBrownRacing began in 1999 with the purchase of a 1979 Camaro, some tools and
the determination to win. Competing in the Street Stock division at Evergreen
Speedway, driver Kevin Brown rode off with Rookie Of The Year and finished 11th
in points in a 72 car field.
2000 was a part-time year with the team running only a third of the races and
still managing to bring home a B-main trophy and post two top 10 A-main
finishes.
2001 was a banner year. Two trips to the winners circle in the A-main, finishing
8th in points despite missing two races and posting 11 top 10 finishes out of 15
starts. The team even finished 4th in points average and earned a mention in the
national motor sports magazine, Circle Track.
2002 proved that 1999 was no fluke. Leaving the Street Stock division behind,
KBrownRacing moved up to the Super Stock division, finished 10th in points,
scored 3 top 5s and 11 top 10s in 14 starts capping off the year by taking home
the Rookie of the Year in Evergreen’s top division.
2003 was a second try at a sophomore season. We didn't run too many races,
but had fun when we did. Events included the regular Monroe weekly series
plus a couple of Northwest Series races (one on the 5/8th, one on the 3/8th) as
well as a quick trip over the pass for the Yakima season ending 100 lapper.
2004 was a season of transition. We only once, the final Northwest Series race on the 3/8th. Then on the home front we purchased a new house so it was back to square one on the shop and all things racing
2005-??? Haven't raced at all. As of January 2008 we've finally admitted to ourselves that racing won't be in our near future with all the things to do around the house plus all the weekend events for the kids. Maybe sometime in the not to distant future we'll return with a vengeance...
